Nankin Rd to Madison Hwy

Distance: 9 miles

Features: springs, shoals, wading birds

This stretch of the river has a large spring (McIntyre spring) and the second largest shoal on the river. Wading birds frequent the shallows near the shoals.

Sullivan Launch to Florida Camps

Distance: 8.5 miles

Features: springs, limestone banks, wading birds, shoals, remote

Very beautiful and remote part of the river. Many small to medium sized shoals. A great trip!

Florida Camps to Suwannee River State Park

Distance: 13.5 miles

Features: springs, white sand bars, limestone rock banks, shoals, rock field, wading birds, public lands border much of the river.

This trip has it all! Paddle through an awesome maze of huge limestone boulders, drift silently over springs then pick up the pace as the swift waters of the many shoals push you along.

Florida Camps to Allen Landing

Distance: 5.5 miles

Features: Springs, shoals, limestone banks, rock field

This trip is the upper portion of the Florida Camps to SRSP trip.

You will pass through the rock field and enjoy several large springs. Most notable of the springs is Madison Blue Spring a beautiful first magnitude Spring.

Allen Landing to Suwannee River State Park

Distance: 8.25 miles

Features: Springs, shoals, limestone banks, wading birds

This is The lower section of the Florida Camps to SRSP trip.

This trip has lots of springs and shoals. Beautiful scenery.

You will also experience Melvin Shoal, the largest shoal on the river.  It is a short, but intense white water shoal that is a fun ride.

I highly recommend this trip!
